Location
Centrally Located
Spring Hill is conveniently located as a foundation for your travels throughout the south east corner of Queensland. Whether your business is in the bustling CBD less than 10 minutes stroll from your front door, or you’re visiting the many surrounding attractions further afield, The Metropolitan gives you a great base from which to explore.
Spring Hill is one of Brisbane’s most historic suburbs, providing glimpses of early Brisbane architecture dating back to the 1800’s. Beautiful Queenslander buildings and funky cottages, exuding the style of old, are scattered throughout our many streets and laneways. There’s an historic trail allowing you to take an enthralling walk through Brisbane’s history.
Brisbane food and pub culture also climbed the ‘Hill over the years, and our area boasts a number of eclectic places to unwind. In addition to our own amazing Restaurant Indriya, or streetside drinks at Indi, the renowned Sportsman Hotel is located only a few doors from our building. We’re also a very short stroll to the International Hotel (with the hidden Archer’s Brewing bunker bar) and the Alliance Hotel, each boasting rich histories.
As the closest city fringe suburb adjoining the bustling Fortitude Valley, Spring Hill is also ideally located to venture into the amazing buzz and nightlife offered by ‘the Valley’. From there, up and coming trendy dining and eateries of James Street New Farm and surrounds are only easily accessible. In fact, almost all of Brisbane’s best-rated eateries and bars are within ten minutes of The Metropolitan, either via a short walk or Uber trip.
